Audrey Branum and April Wright are graduates from OPD Citizen's Police Academy.
The Citizens Police Academy is a 12-week program designed to give the public a working knowledge of OPD. When we asked April about her favorite thing about the academy, she replied, "I enjoyed it all!" Audrey said that she learned so many things about OPD that intrigued her, and didn't realize all the training behind some of our units.
This is a FREE course and all classroom materials are provided! If you are thinking of a career in law enforcement, this is a great learning opportunity. This class is also for anyone curious to know more about the Odessa Police Department.
